The ACLS-EP instructor course is a 1-day instructor orientation to EP.

The aim of the instructor course is to give the Instructor candidate practice at teaching all of the new formats involved in EP, with constructive feedback from faculty and peers. Guidance will also be given as to session preparation, and time management.

Pre- requisites:

Candidates must have EP-instructor potential from an EP provider course. Instructor potential is valid for length of certification.

Post course:

Candidates must be successfully monitored, by a member of EP Faculty, within 90 days of the initial Instructor course.

Re- Certification of Instructor Status:
Certification is valid for 2 years. Re-certification includes revalidation of provider skills and successful monitoring.

The number of courses required to re-certify in Ireland has yet to be finalized as this is dependant on number of courses available to teach. Please watch instructor notice board for updates on this.

Instructors may re-certify early, however there is NO GRACE PERIOD for expired instructor cards.
