  • Start from standing facing the back of your chair (or desk).

  • Hold the chair or desk with both hands for support.

  • Keeping your back straight and your body upright throughout ...

  • ... slowly raise yourself as far as is comfortable onto your tiptoes, before ...

  • ... slowly lowering yourself to the start position again.

  • Repeat until your calf muscles feel slightly tired.

  • Breathe normally throughout the action - do NOT hold your breath.
