| The Irish Heart Foundation, in partnership with Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke are delighted to have been chosen as the charity partner for the Chartered Accountants Ireland, Ireland’s biggest accountancy body. The inaugural Charity Day will be held on Friday 20th April 2012. 21,000 chartered accountants, as well as chartered accountancy students, colleagues, family and friends are all encouraged to get active for one great cause – beating cardiovascular disease in Ireland. Chartered Accountants Ireland president John Hannaway FCA commented at the launch of the partnership: “On behalf of all Chartered Accountants on the island, I’m delighted to row in behind the Irish Heart Foundation and Northern Ireland Chest Heart & Stroke. I see this initiative as a fantastic opportunity to get fit and active, while raising much-needed funds for our partner charities. Most of us know some family member or friend who has suffered from a condition associated with heart disease.
