Did you know that the Irish Heart Foundation relies on charitable donations from companies and the Irish public for at least 90% of our funding? These are tough times and we need your help to keep Irish hearts and minds free from cardiovascular disease. We are asking your company, no matter what size, to join our fight against heart disease and stroke through one or more ways: employee engagement, sponsorship, promotions, corporate donations, charity of the year programmes, payroll giving and so on.

How your company can support the Irish Heart Foundation

Charity of the Year:

Charity of the Year programmes allow your company to concentrate your efforts for one year or more on the charity of your choice or the choice of your employees. We are looking for companies to make us their charity of the year and together we can tailor a programme of support that will work for your company.

Payroll Giving:

Payroll giving is a very convenient way for companies and their employees to give regularly with minimum effort. Giving in this way provides a reliable source of income to our charity for one year or more.

Mobile Phone Recycling:

Many companies support our charity by taking part in our Mobile Phone Recycling campaign which is run in conjunction with Vodafone. The campaign provides a great opportunity to generate donations - without involving any cash! Choosing more than one charity in this way, may be a flexible option to suit your company and employees. Some companies like to choose 3 or 4 charities to support in a year.

Sponsor a publication or campaign:

Sponsorship is a special relationship between our charity and relevant companies that provides funding for Irish Heart Foundation projects/campaigns and gives an association with our messages.

Irish Heart Foundation partnership:

It may suit your company to donate a portion of revenue to the Irish Heart Foundation when IHF supporters buy your product or service. The partnership must be an appropriate fit with the Irish Heart Foundation.

Get your employees involved:

Encourage your employees to get involved with an Irish Heart Foundation activity such as an overseas walk, women’s mini marathon, World Heart Day walks or volunteer to fundraise for Happy Heart Weekend in May. Employees can also donate their time: Employees frequently lend their professional skills to help the Irish Heart Foundation.
