Happy Heart Weekend

‘IN A HEARTBEAT’ – CAN YOU DONATE AN HOUR OF YOUR TIME TO HELP KEEP HEARTS BEATING THIS HAPPY HEARTS WEEKEND 2015?

Happy Hearts Weekend 2015 takes place on Friday May 8th and Saturday May 9th, 2015 and we need your help. We’re looking for local Heart Heroes to donate an hour or two of your time to help us sell our Happy Heart pin badges in local communities across Ireland this May. We have various ways you can be a Heart Hero this Happy Hearts Weekend:

Heart Hero Community Ambassadors
Are you well known in your community and involved in various activities locally? If so, you could be a Heart Hero Community Ambassador . Your role will be to help coordinate the Happy Hearts appeal in your local community, by helping us to recruit volunteers in your area to sell the pin badges on the 8th and 9th of May on the street or in shopping centres. You could also help to get local businesses on board to take a box to sell the pin badges in store. Your local contacts, friends and colleagues could help achieve a hugely successful Happy Heart Weekend in your area, helping to keep hearts beating and making everyone’s hearts happy.

Heart Hero Collectors
Can you give an hour or two of your time to help sell heart pin badges during Happy Hearts Weekend? An hour or two will make a huge difference and will help to keep hearts beating in your community. The more money we raise, the bigger the impact we can deliver – and to get as much money raised as possible – we need more feet on the street. Why not gather a few friends, colleagues or your family and take to the street this 8/9th May to help keep hearts happy. Can you help us?

Young Heart Heroes – Calling Transition Year Students
Your school could make an incredible difference and help to keep hearts beating in your local community. Why not involve your Transition Year Students by enabling them to collect for an hour or two in your local community?  You’ll help to build team spirit and help keep hearts happy.

Happy Heart Event Organisers
Do you have creative flair and lots of great ideas? Why not organise a local Happy Heart Weekend event in your community?  Paint your town red for the weekend – and get local clubs, businesses and groups behind you. Can your town stand out this Happy Heart Weekend – do you want to take up that challenge? If so, we have an events pack for you with lots of ideas that can support you all the way. Don’t delay, get in touch and get planning!

“..I did it my Way”
Do it your way – you may have other ideas of how you can support Happy Hearts Weekend and we’d love to hear from you.  Email Anne at happyheart@irishheart.ie

Don’t miss out and get involved this May – just complete the short form below to tell us how you want to get involved. Welcome to Happy Hearts Weekend 2015!
