The Irish Heart Foundation has a positive history of putting in place measures, strategies and policies required to effectively tackle Stroke and Cardiovascular disease. It recognizes the need for an effective mechanism to strengthen and develop the research agenda in this critical area of health care and is therefore the facilitator of the newly established National Cardiovascular and Stroke Research Network (NCSRN).

It is our vision to ensure our patients are the primary beneficiaries of evolving standards of care, improved therapeutics and diagnostics resulting from our quality and innovative driven research agenda.
