Peripheral Arterial Disease

The Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) information pack for GPs has been produced by the Irish Heart Foundation, Irish College of General Practitioners (ICGP) and the Irish Association of Vascular Surgeons (IAVS). It contains an educational CD ROM and PAD Management Guide for General Practice.

The three groups have joined together for the first time to form the IHF Council on Peripheral Arterial Disease. The Council has developed the Peripheral Arterial Disease Information Pack to increase the awareness, detection and treatment of the condition.
