Pedometer

Challenge yourself to get active using the Irish Heart Foundation’s Digi-Walker SW 200 pedometer and record your daily steps on the Irish Heart Foundation record card.

We recommend that you be active for at least 30 minutes at a moderate intensity (similar to a brisk walk) on five days of the week or more.

To get fit use the pedometer to build up to at least 10,000 steps per day by walking between 30 and 60 minutes.  A 30 minute brisk walk averages 4,000 steps.

The cost of the pedometer is 12 euros.  Organisations buying in larger quantities are entitled to a discount- batches less the 50 pedometers costs 10 euros each and batches over 50 pedometers costs 9 euros each.
