The HSE have conducted an internal audit up to the year 2005 on progress in implementing the Government's strategy on heart health "Building Healthier Hearts" The IHF called a meeting of all stakeholders on 27th September 2007. The conference acted as a forum for key stakeholders to review the progress of the 1999 Cardiovascular Strategy – Building Healthier Hearts and to highlight challenges that lie ahead in progressing it.
