Vodafone Phone Recycling Appeal
TURN YOUR OLD MOBILE PHONE INTO GOLD!

The Irish Heart Foundation, in partnership with the Vodafone Ireland Foundation, have introduced a mobile phone recycling programme, calling on everyone in Ireland to dig out all those phones stashed away to help raise money for the IHF.
€4.5 million worth of phones are stashed away in Irish homes
- Spend 5 or 10 minutes to find your old phone!
- Recycle your phone in collection bins in your local Vodafone Store
- Recycle your phone in work. If your workplace doesn’t have an IHF phone recycling bin, organise one!
- Pop your phones in a freepost Irish Heart Foundation phone recycling envelopes
- Order recycling envelopes or collection bins by calling 1800 303136.
Where will the money go?
Your old phones for our phoneline
- All finances raised will fund the Irish Heart Foundation Helpline
- Dedicated lo-call number 1890 432 787, which offers confidential, medical advice
- Manned by medical professionals from 10am – 5pm Monday to Friday
- Support patients and their families who are living with a heart condition or a stroke
- Provide advice heart healthy living, managing blood pressure and keeping a healthy cholesterol level.
Speaking at the launch, George Hook commented: “Helping others is uplifting, and it also can be easy, like donating your old mobile phone to support the Irish Heart Foundation. I certainly will be digging out my old phones from under the bed."
